Description
The Delta Farm & Winery Trail consists of several farms and wineries along CA Scenic Hwy 160.
Drive along winding rivers and sloughs in the heart of the California Delta. Â Visit quaint historic towns, shop at rustic farm stands or pick your own fresh fruit and vegetables. Â Taste Delta wines, picnic by the river, and enjoy the peaceful pace among generational family farms.
Current farms include Steamboat Acres, Double M Farms, McDowell Hunting Preserve, Wallace Chan Farms Inc., Delta Islands Organic Farm, John McCormick Co., R Kelley Farms, Maggi’s Farm, Vierra Farms, Backyard Basics Personal Chef, Delta Farmers Market, River-Pear Orchards, and Stone Lake Farms.
Current wineries include Heringer Estates Vineyards & Winery, Scribner Bend Vineyards Inc., Rendez-vous Winery, Bogle Vineyards & Winery, Carvalho Family Winery, Three Wine Company, Duke H Farming & Twisted Rivers Wines, Elevation Ten Winery, Clarksburg Wine Company, Grand Island Vineyards, Julietta Winery, Consumnes River Farms, and Hemly Cider.
Annual Wine & Produce Passport Weekend is always the 2nd weekend in August.
The mission of the Sacramento River Delta Grown Agri-Tourism Association is to promote agricultural sustainability and profitability of local farmers in the Sacramento River Delta area through agri-tourism and agri-education by providing public accessibility to local farms while enhancing the public’s awareness of production agriculture and the enjoyment of the rural farming experience.
