Village West Yacht Club
Description
The Village West Yacht Club (VWYC) is located in Stockton, California. VWYC is a member of the Pacific Inter Club Yachting Association. We are a group of boat owners and people interested in boating, and the boating community.
The VWYC is located at The Village West Marina. This is a full service marina which houses a gas dock (gas & diesel), a chandlery and a yacht repair service. There are also two restaurants: Bob's at the Marina, and The Garlic Brothers.
Club History
A group of 35 folks gathered together at Village West Marina in October 1987, to form the Village West Yacht Club.
Remember our Past Commodores A modular unit was found and placed on the property, the "point", and became our clubhouse. We have done a lot of work on the building and property for the enjoyment of our membership and fellow boaters. There is a full service bar, pool table and excellent cuisine served for our events and planned cruise-ins. Our dock has electricity and water.
Club Activities
Our boats range from 21' to 59'.
We are members of the Pacific Inter-Club Yachting Association (PICYA).

Cruising
Our cruises vary from weekend jaunts, a five day Delta Cruise to a nine-day Bay Cruise - we are a cruising club. From March to October we have a cruise once a month around the Delta.
Membership Information
Our membership consists of family and single membership. This gives our club a wide cross section of boaters and boating experience. Please come and visit us ... we may be small, but we are "a great place to be!"
