Description
The Delta Farm & Winery Trail consists of several farms and wineries along CA Scenic Hwy 160.
Drive along winding rivers and sloughs in the heart of the California Delta. Visit quaint historic towns, shop at rustic farm stands or pick your own fresh fruit and vegetables. Taste Delta wines, picnic by the river, and enjoy the peaceful pace among generational family farms.
Current farms include Steamboat Acres, Double M Farms, McDowell Hunting Preserve, Wallace Chan Farms Inc., Delta Islands Organic Farm, John McCormick Co., R Kelley Farms, Maggi's Farm, Vierra Farms, Backyard Basics Personal Chef, Delta Farmers Market, River-Pear Orchards, and Stone Lake Farms.
Current wineries include Heringer Estates Vineyards & Winery, Scribner Bend Vineyards Inc., Rendez-vous Winery, Bogle Vineyards & Winery, Carvalho Family Winery, Three Wine Company, Duke H Farming & Twisted Rivers Wines, Elevation Ten Winery, Clarksburg Wine Company, Grand Island Vineyards, Julietta Winery, Consumnes River Farms, and Hemly Cider.
Annual Wine & Produce Passport Weekend is always the 2nd weekend in August.
The mission of the Sacramento River Delta Grown Agri-Tourism Association is to promote agricultural sustainability and profitability of local farmers in the Sacramento River Delta area through agri-tourism and agri-education by providing public accessibility to local farms while enhancing the public’s awareness of production agriculture and the enjoyment of the rural farming experience.
