JULY

July 4: Hilton Fireworks Extravaganza, staged by Hotel magnate Barron Hilton, headquartered at his duck club on Venice Island. This annual event features fireworks shot from a barge anchored off Mandeville Tip and attracts over 3,000 boats, which anchor out in the area, some of them for many days. This is the largest boat-in event in the Delta -- perhaps the largest in the west. 

July 4–6:  Sunset Bar & Grill's Patriotic Celebration Weekend.

July 12:  Taste of the Delta sponsored by The California Delta Chambers – Enjoy the Delta to its fullest! This weekend take advantage of everything the Delta has to offer at KOA's Tower Park Resort.  Listen to great music, eat delicious food and taste wine provided by local Delta businesses, silent and a live auctions! This event will be held in the KOA pavilion. Tickets $25 (advance), $30 (at the door) are available at Taste of The Delta.com or at The Sunset Bar and Grill.

July 18-20:  Sunset Bar & Grill's Mardi Gras Weekend Parade and Party - Let the fun begin! Enjoy Mardi Gras by decorating your bikes, golf carts and the hay wagon and wave to your friends and family in a great KOA parade. Decorate your own Mardi Gras Masks and make a neat Mardi Gras necklace, fun for the whole family.  Followed by live entertainment at Sunset Bar and Grill.

July 25-27:  KOA's Pirate's Weekend - Ahoy Mate! Pirates have invaded the Stockton Delta KOA at Tower Park Resort. Participate in a treasure hunt, make your own treasure maps and watch a pirate movie in the big outdoor cinema.

AUGUST

August 1-3:  KOA's Tower Park Resort Game Show Weekend - Ever watch a game and think you should be the contestant? Well now’s your chance! Play Jeopardy and Deal or No Deal with your family and compete for great prizes!

August 15-17:  KOA's Tower Park Resort Wet Water Madness - Who said playing with water will make you mad? Fun is the objective and water is the solution. Play watermelon soccer in the pool, bring you water guns for a game of tag and play with balloons all weekend long through various relays!

August 22-24:  KOA's Tower Park Resort Survivor Weekend - Let’s see who the last one standing is? This weekend participate in many tournament games such as the one legged standing contest, insect scavenger hunt, build your own shelter and race for the rainbow contest. Fishing tournament for the kids.  Learn about the creatures of the Delta during a boat tour.  See which group survives and takes the prize.

August 24: Great Bethel Island Air Show Over "The Margarita Mile" on Bethel Island.  Sponsored by Lundborg Landing, Paradise Bar & Grill, The Rusty Porthole, Bethel Island Chamber of Commerce. This spectacular event starts at Noon with a flyby by a U.S. Air Force C-5 Galaxy, followed by the Patriot Jet Team. In addition is the U.S. Coast Guard Air Rescue Demo Team. Also appearing is Tim Decker with his Pitts S-2B and Ellsworth Getchell with his Hawker Sea Fury. The owner of the Patriot Jet Team and Air Boss, Randy Howell, will be coordinating airshow traffic and arriving by a twin engine amphibious Widgen that will be anchored at the show center on Franks Tract. This Airshow is FREE. There is plenty of free parking on the island for families and their guests, as well as access to camping in RV Parks and Marinas along Franks Tract, which are adjacent to the flight line.  Contact 925-684-9283.

August 25:  Reggae on The Delta at The Breadfruit Tree Don't miss it!! At the Breadfruit Tree restaurant. GREAT CARIBBEAN Steel drums BANDS COMING FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT. September 26-28: Military Vehicle Collectors of California at The Stockton Delta KOA at Tower Park.  In case you missed them in April… they’re back! Stay with us this and see a great collection of vintage military vehicles. 20th Military Vehicles Collector's Swap Meet - Ten-hut! Stay with us this weekend and see a great collection of vintage military vehicles. Locate your hard to find military collectables at their Swap Meet. September 28:  Taste of Lodi.  This event supports tourism growth in our community and benefits a good cause by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Boys & Girls Club of Lodi. This extraordinary event features up to 40 award winning Lodi wineries along with food selections from some of the area's finest restaurants and caterers. There are wine seminars that take place throughout the day, chefs demonstrations, and live music. The Port, Cigar and Chocolate Pavilion will be a great place to pair wine with some complimentary treats. Tickets to this event are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
