Bob is a native Californian, born in Palo Alto and has lived in the Bay Area all his life. In 1965 he started in Real Estate with Rath Realtors in Concord. In the early 70's he was the manager for 3 Gentrytown Subdivisions: Gentry Courts, Rivergate & Innerspace.
Entered the partnership of East County Brokers in 1977 where he remained until opening Bob Gunson Real Estate in 1994. Specializing in Property Management while still maintaining expertise in the listing & selling of properties both in residential and commercial.

Community service is a cornerstone of the business philosophy. Having served on the Board of Directors of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce for many years was not enough. Three separate times Bob served as the Chairman of the Board.
Other community involvement includes Past President of the Antioch Rotary Club 1984-1985 & again in 2012-2013. Past Charter Advisory Board Chairman for the East County Salvation Army.
Bob was also the Chapter President of the Alameda/Contra Costa Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers for the second time in 2010.
Bob's wife, Paulette is licensed and available to help with your Real Estate needs as well as being the Office Manager & Bookeeper. Paulette has been in the office since 1995.
Carolina Saucedo has been with us for 6 years. Carolina is currently on maternity leave.
Karen Talamantes has joined the staff. Karen has worked for several Real Estate offices prior to coming with us. Karen is not licensed but with her expierence is a welcome assistant to Bob & Paulette.
